Basketball Tournament Organizing & Directing

Hire Niniijaanis to host your basketball tournament! Advance notice required in order to curate a successful tournament experience - 45 days before a 3 x 3 date, 90 days before a 5 x 5 date.

When you hire Niniijaanis, you will be hiring Coach Brook LaFloe as the main organizer & director with Niniijaanis MMIW team members in supporting roles for the day of your tournament.

Niniijaanis will complete the following services for hire:

1. Registration system; create flyer, link, QR code & monitor registration until full

2. Game Schedule/Day of Schedule: Create & execute a timed game schedule for the tournament. Create, Post & update live tournament bracket.

3. Communications: share schedule with registered teams, post flyer on relevant social medias, serve as contact for tournament related questions

4. Tournament rules - create rules (based off best tournament practices), send to registered teams, post the day of & on FB event page ahead of time

5. Facebook Event Page- create an event page specifically for tournament day, share relevant tournament information ahead of time

6. Direct tournament day of; team check-in/registration, schedule, clock & scoreboard

7. Oversee helpers & provide helpers with Niniijaanis MMIW boys basketball team

8. Recruitment of teams & additional helpers for tournament

THINGS TO CONSIDER:

1. We do not book or rent gym space, this must be done by the organization hiring. We will offer recommendations for gyms based on tournament style if desired.

2. We do not supply prizes to winners, this must be done by the organization hiring. We will offer recommendations for prizes based on tournament style if desired.

3. We do not supply referees for the tournament, this must be done by the organization hiring. We have a curated list of certified community referees for hire. We can hire & organize referee schedule for an additional $100 fee. Please inquire for more information.

4. We do not supply media, photos or footage for the tournament. We have a curated list of community media members for hire. We can hire media & organize for an additional $100 fee. Please inquire for more information.
